HZPC has presented it annual report for fiscal 2010/2011, showing records in sales and profits.
The conditions in the potato market were such that a unique combination of both a good price level as well as a large volume occurred.
HZPC growers and employees were able to benefit in an optimal way from the opportunities that supply and demand offered. This led to records in sales and profits.
HZPC realized a consolidated turnover of 284 million euros, an increase compared to the year 2009/2010 of more than 34%. The net profit amounted to 8.6 million euro. The share of the subsidiaries was 4.5 million euro;a doubling compared to 2009/2010.
Of the total profit 64% has been paid to the share holders, which equates to a dividend of 7.00 euro per certificate.
