Guaranda será la sede del IV Congreso Ecuatoriano de Papa del 28 al 30 de junio del 2011
El objetivo de este evento es reunir a las personas e instituciones relacionadas con la investigación y producción de papa en Ecuador para que expongan sus avances, actualicen sus conocimientos y coordinen futuros trabajos.
Este evento tiene un carácter principalmente científico. Contará con expositores internacionales que presentarán conferencias magistrales y con expositores nacionales que expondrán sus trabajos mediante presentaciones orales o pósters.
