Solynta Makes History with First Hybrid True Potato Seed Variety Registered in the Netherlands

Solynta today announced the official registration of its diploid hybrid true potato variety SOLHY019 on the Dutch National Variety Register, following formal approval and publication by the Dutch Board of Plant Varieties. This milestone marks the first-ever registration of a hybrid diploid hybrid potato variety grown from hybrid true potato seed (HTPS) in the Netherlands, reinforcing Solynta’s position as the global pioneer and leading breeder of hybrid potato varieties.
