Variety Description

Violet is a medium-maturing table and chip potato variety released in 2011, featuring long, large tubers with violet skin and pale yellow flesh. It has a short dormancy period (30–45 days), yields 25–30 tonnes/ha under good management, and is susceptible to late blight.
