GRIMME PRIOS 440 potato planter features a modular design that offers flexible equipment options and high operating convenience. Its goose neck drawbar with an intermediate frame allows soil cultivation using various tillage implements, while enabling simultaneous application of fertiliser, granulates, and treatment agents during planting.
The machine includes a hybrid ridge shaping unit for consistent performance across all soil conditions and adaptability to different ridge requirements. It also supports the TerraProtect system for effective erosion control, ensuring better soil conservation and water management.
With a transport width under 3 meters, it meets EU type-approval standards. Advanced features like Clever Planting, Section Control, and site-specific farming enhance precision, while myGRIMME connectivity and SmartView provide easy data management and clear monitoring of machine functions.

- Completely Section Control Capable: In order to save money and resources, the fertiliser box, the barrel system and the planting elements can be switched on/off separately from each other and for each row individually via Section Control (single-row switch on/off with so-called "Multiboom function"). This can significantly reduce nutrient inputs into the environment, especially when creating spraying tracks or planting on wedge-shaped fields.
- Road transport width less than 3.00 m: Due to the road transport width of less than 3.00 m, GRIMME´s PRIOS 440 is the first 4-row potato planter with a complete EU type-approval. A special approval for road transport is no longer required. The complete EU type-approval simplifies interplant or even cross-border use.
