AGRIMA GmbH & Co. KG is a German family business that processes and packs table potatoes and onions for the German food retail trade. The company sources potatoes from regional growers in the Gäuboden region of Lower Bavaria and prepares them for retail using modern sorting, washing, and packing technology. With an annual throughput of approximately 50,000 tonnes, AGRIMA supplies German food retailers with consistently high-quality potatoes in flexible pack formats tailored to customer requirements.
The business was founded in the 1970s when Ludwig Gritsch began marketing potatoes from the family farm in Straubing-Ittling. The first dedicated packing hall for potatoes and onions was built in 1992. A modern crate cold store for table potatoes was completed in 2012. In 2022 the company moved to a new production site in Niederharthausen near Aiterhofen, where it operates state-of-the-art sorting, washing, packing, and logistics systems. The business is today led by owner-manager Manfred Gritsch, representing the second generation of the Gritsch family.
