ALMICOR, a family-owned company started in 1975, is regarded as one of Colombia's pioneering potato starch makers.  The term "Almicor" is an acronym for "Almidones Cordi," which represents the Cordi family's commitment to starch manufacture.  ALMICOR began by focusing on Colombian potato starch but has now expanded its product line to include sweet cassava starch, sour cassava starch, maize starch, and industrial adhesives.

The company provides a varied range of starches and starch-derived products, with a focus on high quality.  Furthermore, ALMICOR offers a diverse range of industrial adhesives based on natural and synthetic polymers, with compositions tailored to individual client needs.
