A proactive approach helps CIFT in discerning critical challenges emerging in Indian agriculture along with creating opportunities for development, value addition and international trade to augment farmers’ growth and farm revenue. Industry-oriented Working Groups and sector specific Councils CIFT represent the interests of key stakeholders at the national level and through international platforms and partnerships.

The council provides strategies for expanding business internationally, by organizing specialized business events and simultaneously working with the Government by providing policy suggestions which are essentially based on inputs collated from research and industry stakeholders.
