French Fry manufacturer Aviko, a subsidiary of Royal Cosun and Snow Valley Agriculture have agreed to end their joint venture in China.

Royal Cosun reports a higher turnover and a higher profit for 2017 in comparison with 2016. Potato Processing subsidiary Aviko again turned in an excellent performance in 2017.

Aviko, one of the top potato processing companies in Europe, plans to invest € 200 million (USD 210 million) in new and existing production plants.

Royal Cosun announces an increase in its profit for 2016 in comparison with 2015. The projected decline in the profit on sugar was offset by firmer results on other activities, especially potatoes.

In 2015 Royal Cosun achieved a lower result than in 2014, but it was still better than expected. Cosun subsidiary Aviko results further improved in 2015, thanks to higher sales at good prices.
