The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) Micropropagation Technology Park

TERI Micropropagation Technology Park specializes in potato tissue culture and micropropagation of disease-free planting material for seed potato programs.

The facility produces clonal potato plants of multiple commercial and processing varieties including Kufri Chipsona series, Kufri Jyoti, Kufri Pukhraj, Kufri Fryom, Kufri Frysona, Kufri Bahar, Kufri Kiran, and Kufri Lauvkar.

Using controlled laboratory conditions, the park supports early-generation seed production, varietal multiplication, and quality planting material supply for farmers, seed producers, and research institutions. Its potato-focused operations contribute to improved seed health, uniform crop establishment, and higher productivity in commercial potato cultivation.
