Farmneed AgriBusiness (FNAB) is a growing agritech venture with niche capabilities around plant protection. FNAB has undergone multiple collaborative research with centres of excellence including WBSU, the only recognized Asia Blight lab in India, NRCG (ICAR Institute), Assam Agriculture University towards its effort to develop crop specific solutions.

Especially, for blight they have done a deep study both on phenotypic diversity and genotypic diversity. Their study on population genetics coupled with deep tech have helped them to develop early warning at plot level. The mentioned study also covers fungicide sensitivity. Hence, ability has been developed for bespoke guidance on plant protection.

As far as Potato is concerned, in addition to Blight, Farmneed is also capable of generating early warning alerts for Aphids and Whitefly infestation. Advisory for crop protection by a pool of experts at the backend is also available both via 'in app' video call and text message. Multiple language options are provided for service delivery depending upon different geographies.
