FIWA was established in 2017 and aims to work for the benefit and upliftment of medium- and small-scale industries in India. 

The organization aims to incubate, promote, encourage, and support the Indian food processing industry and also provide training to every segment at affordable prices to help producers match the global standards of the food processing industry.
