Magrabar Chemical Corporation

Magrabar Chemical Corporation, presently known as Magrabar LLC, is a producer based in the United States that specializes in antifoams, defoamers, emulsifiers, surfactants, and related additives for food and industrial uses.  The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Morton Grove, Illinois. It services a variety of industries, including food processing, beverage production, and industrial manufacturing. ​

MÜNZING CHEMIE GmbH, a German specialized additive manufacturer, bought Magrabar in 2013 to extend its food additive manufacturing capabilities.

Magrabar's product line comprises a variety of defoaming agents and surfactants used to control foam in processing systems.  Their products are used in applications like potato processing, beverage manufacturing, and other food-related sectors.
