McCain Foods GB - Scarborough is one of the 4 potato processing factories of McCain Foods in the United Kingdom.

Scarborough is also where McCain Foods (GB) has its headquarters.

Scarborough was selected as the location of the first overseas plant of Canada-based McCain Foods.

Construction of the plant started in 1968 and production of the first "McCain Chips" began in 1969.

NewCold opens extended automated frozen storage in Wakefield, largest in the United Kingdom

NewCold has unveiled its newly-completed expanded deep frozen storage and distribution centre which, says the company, is now the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom.
