Resson, a predictive analytics company for the agricultural industry, welcomed Mahindra & Mahindra as a strategic partner, joining existing strategic partners, which include McCain Foods and Monsanto Growth Ventures.

Big data was something McCain Foods discovered by chance. 'What happened really was we have some research projects and those projects appeared to be in the realm of big data,' says Leclerc, who will be speaking at the Big Data Congress in Saint John, New Brunswick next month.

Resson, a fast-growing data-driven agriculture technology company, today announced that McCain Foods Limited is now a strategic partner and is part of a $US 11 million (about $CDN 14 million) Series B investment round in the company.
