Yamato is Japanese manufacturer of weighing equipment, including a full range of multihead weighing scales.

The company was founded in 1920 as a division of Kawanishi Machine Works, gained independence in 1945, and has since expanded globally, operating in more than 15 nations and distributing its products in 136 territories. 

Axle weighers, digital platform scales, checkweighers, multihead weighers (DataweighTM), and belt conveyor scales are among Yamato's product offerings. Food processing, retail, heavy industrial, automotive, chemicals, and healthcare are just a few of the industries that these goods serve. 

The commpany has a long history of invention; in 1979, it unveiled the first multihead weigher with load cells, and in 1988, it created multihead weigher mixing software. Yamato still provides applications and other solutions suited to certain industrial demands.
