Julio 09, 2010

After four weeks of exhibit sales to FPSA members, the association reports reaching a record milestone of 140,000 square feet for the 2011 PROCESS EXPO trade show. The show will be held November 1 – 4 at McCormick Place (South Hall) in Chicago.

“The excitement is contagious,” said Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and President of Weber, Inc. “Suppliers have stepped up and claimed their stake at what promises to be a unique and groundbreaking event in the food processing and packaging industry,” he continued.

In 2011, PROCESS EXPO begins a biennial show cycle as a major worldwide trade show serving the food processing and packaging industry throughout multiple industry sectors including bakery, beverage, confectionary, dairy, fruit &vegetable and meat.

This worldwide event is expected to be the largest PROCESS EXPO show to date and has garnered much excitement, evident by the growing list of bellwether suppliers who have already claimed their space at the show.

Interest in PROCESS EXPO 2011 has also had an impact on FPSA’s membership.  New member recruitment in 2010 is up 43% over 2009 with many new members joining in order to choose space in the 2011 show during the member round of space selection and take advantage of the member discount.

“The success of PROCESS EXPO 2011 exhibit sales and new member recruitment validates the decisions that FPSA leadership has made,” said the CEO of FPSA, David Seckman.  “Now that we are opening our sales campaign to non-members, we are confident that our momentum in exhibit sales and new member recruitment will continue to grow,” he added. Exhibit sales open to non-members on July 18th.

Of course you can first attend this years PROCESS EXPO co-located with the IFT that starts next week in Chicago.
