DKSH partners with Limagrain Ingredients to expand functional flours in Southeast Asia

DKSH has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Limagrain Ingredients, part of the French agricultural co-operative group Limagrain, the European leader of functional flours and a food ingredient specialist serving the food, pet food, and animal nutrition industries, with natural cereal-based ingredients and solutions. Through this partnership, DKSH will support Limagrain Ingredients’ market entry and growth in the Southeast Asia region by providing end-to-end market expansion services. 
 

Exclusive distribution agreement targets Southeast Asia growth

DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, will distribute Limagrain Ingredients’ portfolio for applications in bakery and pastry, including flours, functional flours, and improvers, as well as breakfast cereals and savory snacks. DKSH will provide marketing and sales, distribution and logistics, regulatory support, and technical application services across Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
 

Partnership strengthens presence in bakery, snacks and plant-based ingredients

With six factories across Europe, Limagrain Ingredients offers a broad portfolio including functional flours, masa flours for tortilla chips, snack pellets for expansion and bread improvers. Committed to the clean label approach for nearly 30 years, Limagrain Ingredients produce from grains and cereals natural ingredients to meet specific nutritional, functional, and technical requirements with high performance and unique functionalities.

Their range of functional flours named Innosense offers solutions to help manufacturers enhance texture and mouthfeel of sauces, ready meals and snacks, replace starches for clean labelling, improve processability of doughs whether it is sheeting, extruding or baking, and enhance nutritional value with naturally occurring fibers and proteins.

Limagrain Ingredients has entrusted DKSH to grow its food ingredients business in Southeast Asia, marking its first collaboration with DKSH. By leveraging DKSH’s extensive regional coverage, distribution network, proven sales and marketing execution, and integrated service offering, the partnership is designed to accelerate market access, reduce time-to-scale and complexity compared to market-by-market expansion, and enhance credibility and reliability across the region.

The partnership also strengthens DKSH’s Food & Beverage Ingredients portfolio by expanding its offering in functional flours and plant-based ingredient solutions. It creates cross-selling opportunities across bakery, instant noodles, and emerging plant-based meat analog applications, reinforcing DKSH’s position as a strategic partner for scaling European food innovation in Southeast Asia.
