For the 2026 season, GRIMME is offering the original MultiSep roller separator for the RH 24 series receiving hoppers. This has been used successfully for decades in trailed and self-propelled harvesters.

The MultiSep is used primarily in heavy and wet conditions. It is equipped with four pairs of rollers. Each pair of rollers consists of a segment roller with four lips and a plain clod roller made of steel. For active cleaning in difficult conditions, the segment rollers and clod rollers can be set to run in opposite directions. In this way, the MultiSep separates moist soil and clods and actively removes weeds and haulm from the crop stream.

In lighter conditions, the roller pairs can be operated in transport position, which means that all rollers rotate in the direction of product flow and the potatoes are cleaned gently. In addition, the rollers can be adjusted in terms of distance and height, allowing the MultiSep to be effectively adapted to the respective harvesting conditions.

A key highlight of the MultiSep is its maximum flexibility in adjustment. Operators can independently control the rotation direction and speed of each roller pair via the operator terminal. The clod roller position can be adjusted hydraulically, while the inclination of the entire unit can be set from ascending to descending directly from the terminal.

Additionally, the hydraulic distance and levelling adjustment allows quick and easy adaptation of machine settings to changing field conditions. These adjustments are conveniently controlled from the operator unit, ensuring efficient operation without manual intervention.

To enhance safety, the MultiSep unit is fully enclosed with protective equipment, while large viewing windows and integrated working lights allow operators to monitor separation performance in real time. The system also features self-cleaning segment rollers with a slight “walking” motion, along with cleaning flaps that make maintenance easier. A reverse function enables operators to clear blockages quickly without needing to access the machine manually.
