Sticomax Group Strengthens Food Processing Portfolio with ICS Spiral Freezers Acquisition

Sticomax Group has announced the acquisition of ICS Spiral Freezers, marking another significant step in the group’s international growth strategy for the global food processing industry.
ICS Spiral Freezers is internationally active as a specialist in high-quality spiral freezers, spiral coolers, and proofing cabinets designed for bakeries and industrial food manufacturers. The acquisition is expected to further strengthen the capabilities of Stumaco and the wider Sticomax Group in industrial freezing, cooling, and proofing technologies.
According to the company, the addition of ICS represents a valuable expansion of the group’s broader ecosystem and supports its ambition to continue growing as an integrated partner for food producers worldwide.
Expansion Enhances Expertise in Freezing, Cooling and Proofing Solutions
With the addition of ICS Spiral Freezers, Sticomax Group now brings together seven specialized companies: Stumaco, Romonta, Intocon, ViwateQ, DTS, FoodeQ, and ICS.
The acquisition is projected to increase the group’s combined turnover toward EUR 125 million (USD 142 million), while expanding the workforce to nearly 300 employees.
Seven Specialized Companies Unite Under the Sticomax Group
Despite the integration, each company within the group will continue to operate with its own identity, management structure, and autonomy. At the same time, Sticomax aims to strengthen collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the delivery of complete processing solutions for customers across the global food industry.
The company welcomed ICS Spiral Freezers to the group, highlighting the shared focus on innovation, expertise, and long-term growth within the food processing sector.
