Restrain, a supplier of sprout inhibition systems for potatoes in commercial storage based on ethylene, has announced the appointment of Yotam Guetta as the company’s new Head of Technology.

The Hotraco group is acquired by Munters. Mooij Agro, supplier of potato storage solutions, is part of the Hotraco Group.

The organisation of the PotatoEurope, which will take place on September 3 and 4, 2025 at the Dutch location of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Field Crops in Lelystad, can already speak of a flying start.

Peter Erik Ywema, director of Sustainability, will leave Royal Avebe on 1 October 2024. This has been mutually agreed by Ywema and the board of directors.
