De diepvriesgroentegroep Pinguin schrapt 120 van de 190 banen bij haar Engelse dochter Padley, aldus De Tijd. Pinguin nam dat bedrijf begin juni over. Volgens de vakbond GMB breekt Pinguin de belofte dat er geen ontslagen zouden vallen. Omdat Pinguin GMB niet correct zou hebben ingelicht over het overnameproces, zet GMB naar eigen zeggen juridische stappen om een schadevergoeding te eisen. Pinguin wijst GMB's verwijten van de hand.
