In de maand april 2011 zijn er totaal 299.900 ton aardappelen tot consumptieproducten verwerkt (bron Produktschap Akkerbouw). Vorig jaar in april kwam het verwerkingscijfer uit op ruim 281.000 ton.
Totaal over de periode mei 2010 t/m april 2011 komt het verwerkingscijfer uit op 3.444.900 ton tegen 3.356.500 miljoen ton over de periode mei 2009 t/m april 2010.
