Potato Expo 2012 the largest gathering of the potato industry in North America

一月 05, 2012
This week, nearly 1,500 attendees from a dozen countries have traveled to Orlando, Florida, to share the latest in agriculture information and innovations.

But this event is more than just numbers;it's about the bottom line. POTATO EXPO offers attendees cutting-edge solutions and information that will help increase the efficiency and productivity of their operations. It also provides a unique networking forum for industry members from every region of the United States and countries from across the globe to come together to develop lasting connections that will grow their businesses for years - and decades - to come.

This year's EXPO truly represents the "who's who"of the North American potato industry. The 20 breakout sessions feature experts from the potato industry, agriculture and academic communities, who will inform attendees on the latest advances and issues facing the chipping, fresh, process and seed sectors.

In addition, the general sessions will feature some of the most respected authorities in the business, marketing and political fields, including former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, former CEO of Continental Airlines Gordon Bethune, Walter Scheib, former White House Executive Chef, and "Supermarket Guru"Phil Lempert. The Wednesday afternoon General Session will include a panel made up of potato growers and their value chain partners who are working together to develop sustainability programs that will directly benefit the environment, growers, customers and the image of the industry.
