Anyone travelling to PotatoEurope in Emmeloord by car on 13 and 14 September 2017 will have much more convenient access to the event than in previous years.

The organisers have rotated the layout of the showground through 180 degrees, creating a new entrance and enabling visitors to park directly on site. This eliminates the need for shuttle buses between the car park and the showground.

As an added advantage, the site is now significantly bigger. This not only creates the opportunity for a larger exhibition area, which enables the organisers to better meet exhibitors’ needs, but also frees up more space for live demonstrations. This optimises the accessibility of the demos and is also beneficial in terms of visitor safety, according to the organisers.

Paulien Hoftijzer, event manager DLG Benelux:

“Throughout this whole process, we worked closely and productively with the Municipality of Noordoostpolder and the Province of Flevoland, among others.”

“It’s clear to us that they all appreciate the importance PotatoEurope and are keen to support it in any way they can.”

This edition involves numerous partners who actively support the event, including the Aeres Group, Agrofoodcluster, Dutch Food Systems (GMV), the Dutch Potato Association (NAO), Case IH and many more.
