CMP's President Trevor Spinney has been named one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 CEOs for 2021 by Atlantic Business Magazine. Trevor was 'presented' with the honor at a virtual awards gala last night.

Trevor led the technical sales team at CMP from 2011 to 2017 before taking on an ownership role in 2017. In 2019, CMP was acquired by FPS Food Process Solutions in a strategic acquisition, and since then, Trevor has overseen the expansion of CMP and the development of End-to-End Solutions for global customers.

Trevor Spinney, CMP's President:

“I congratulate all of the Top 50 CEO award winners and am truly honored to be recognized with this award and sit among this group.”

“I am delighted with the results we have achieved at CMP and proud to lead such a wonderful team of innovative and customer service-focused employees.”

“I am very excited about the bright future that we are creating.”
Trevor is a people and results-driven sales and engineering executive with a 35-year track record in applying engineered products and services to solve clients' critical business needs.

A McGill Engineering graduate with a passion for solution selling, Trevor is adept at developing trusted working relationships and customer service excellence.

Jeffrey Chang, President of FPS Food Process Solutions:

“Trevor has built a strong team for sustained growth and expansion at CMP, and we congratulate him on this honor. From FPS, wethank him for his exceptional leadership.”
CMP is already a top employer in PEI, and recent renovations at the main facility in Charlottetown have doubled CMP's manufacturing space, as well as adding additional space at its recently opened engineering office in Moncton, NB. With global orders picking up, CMP expects to increase its staff another 15-20% by end of the year 2021.
