Key Technology showcased a range of advanced food processing and packaging technologies at the recently concluded Interpack 2026. The company exhibited alongside sister companies PPM Technologies and Multiscan at Hall 6 / B73, highlighting solutions designed to improve food safety, product quality, yield recovery and operational efficiency.

Robert van Dorst, Managing Director of Key – EMEA/Asia:

"Interpack draws processors and packers from every major market, and across all of them we’re hearing the same priority: more operational value without added complexity. Our portfolio is built around exactly that, grounded in decades of application expertise, equipment engineered for minimal operator intervention and a global service team that supports customers wherever they operate."

One of the major highlights at the exhibition was the launch of ADR® X, Key’s next-generation automatic defect removal system for wet potato strips. The system is designed to improve trimming precision and maximize usable product recovery through multi-channel sensing, advanced LED lighting and strobing technology. ADR X also features a redesigned mechanical structure with clean-in-place capability and easier maintenance access to support sanitation and maximize uptime.

Key also presented its COMPASS® belt-fed optical sorter, which uses multi-channel sensor data and multi-wavelength strobing to generate up to eight channels of inspection information. Suitable for products such as potato chips and leafy greens, the sorter provides high detection accuracy while ensuring gentle product handling at high throughput. The system’s recipe-driven operation and sanitary design help reduce training, cleaning and maintenance requirements.

At the same event, PPM Technologies introduced the latest Gen 3 FlavorWright® All-in-One™ seasoning system, a compact solution that combines liquid and dry seasoning functions in a single portable unit for snacks, cereals, frozen foods and nuts. The updated model includes enhanced drum magnets, improved safety features, upgraded wiring design and an optional stainless-steel drum.
