Aardappeldemodag 2026 brought over 4,500 visitors to Westmaas amid a challenging year for the Dutch potato sector. The event focused on market pressures, extreme growing conditions, knowledge sharing, machinery and innovation.

At the recommendation of the Supervisory Board, the Board of Directors of Cooperative PotatoNext has appointed Mr. H. van der Linden as CEO, effective from June 26, 2024, to temporarily strengthen the current management team with an experienced, unifying external executive.

Agrico, Nedato and Leo de Kock announced the name of the new, independent cooperative of common consumption potatoes: PotatoNext. This joint cooperative marks an important milestone in the potato industry and will be the result of a close collaboration between the three renowned companies.
