SYMACH BV has its roots to De Feijter Constructie, a Dutch family firm that manufactured palletising equipment particularly for the agricultural industry. In 2004, the firm rebranded as SYMACH, focusing on palletising and packing machines. As the company evolved, SYMACH moved from Breskens to a purpose-built plant in Terneuzen, Netherlands, in 2009, where it increased manufacturing capacity and extended its client base in both agricultural and industrial industries. SYMACH was bought by Thiele Technologies in 2014 and then merged with Barry-Wehmiller, a global company that provides engineering, consultancy, and manufacturing technologies to the packaging, corrugated board, and paper processing sectors.

Today, SYMACH operates as a brand under BW Flexible Systems, a Barry-Wehmiller division, continuing to design and manufacture custom-built baggers and palletizers from its Terneuzen facility for clients across various industries, including agricultural, food, chemical, and industrial sectors, with an international presence spanning Europe, North America, and Australia.
