The GRIMME TH 824 is a tandem hopper designed to efficiently receive and transfer crops into a connected receiving hopper such as the RH 24-60 or RH 24-70. Its primary function is to ensure a continuous and smooth crop flow while maximising the utilisation of the receiving hopper capacity.
During unloading, the TH 824 automatically raises and lowers, optimising the buffer volume and maintaining a minimal drop height. This significantly reduces crop damage and improves overall product quality.
By increasing the total receiving capacity up to 42 or 49 m³, the tandem hopper helps reduce trailer waiting times by up to 75%, improving logistics efficiency and ensuring faster unloading operations.
The system also enhances crop protection and storage performance by maintaining a consistent crop flow throughout the handling process. Operation is simple and intuitive via the VC 50 operator terminal, ensuring ease of use for operators.
