The Sample machine measures the size of all potatoes, taking into account each potato's square measures, length and diameter. It also analyses the quality by filtering potatoes using the following criteria: scurf, silver scurf, black spots, rot, fresh damage, etc.

The sample machine has the capability of handling a down-stream of 1.5T/h from the mainline or simply being used in a sample line.
