Newly Weds Foods buys industrial food coating business of Continental Mills

Last week, Newly Weds Foods, Inc. has purchased the industrial food coating business of Tukwila, WA. based Continental Mills, Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

The business is primarily comprised of starch and flour based coatings &batters for potato and poultry application as well as other protein and vegetable type substrates.

The transaction includes a 55,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Pendleton, OR. and other assets associated directly with this specific business.

Newly Weds Foods President, Charles T.
