During the visit, Prime Minister Lies, accompanied by Members of the Lower Saxony State Parliament Andrea Kötter and Reinhold Hilbers, toured the facility and learned about Emsland Group's production processes, including the transformation of potatoes and peas into starch, protein and fibre products.
The discussions covered sustainable food ingredients, modern production technologies, cooperation with the agricultural sector and the importance of maintaining a strong industrial base in rural areas.
