During the process of unloading up to the point of processing the products, there are various times at which potatoes, for instance, can be dry-cleaned. Dry cleaning is mainly used to remove unwanted elements – such as soil, clods and stones – from the batch.
Because the composition of a batch of potatoes can vary greatly depending on the origin, different dry cleaning methods are used. In addition to the systems, Tolsma-Grisnich also provides advice in the design phase in order to offer the customer the best solution possible.
