Variety Description

Redrobin is a second early red-skinned potato with medium yellow flesh and shallow eyes. It has good resistance to bruising, splitting, and dry rot (Fusarium coeruleum), and is resistant to potato cyst nematode Ro1, but susceptible to blackleg, potato virus Yo, and PCN Pa 2/3,1. The plants are short to medium in height, with red-violet flowers and pink-based light sprouts. Bred by Gerrol Jalving, with breeder rights lasting until 2040, Redrobin is listed under both Scottish and English seed stocks.
