Yuraq Suytu Siri ("Long White Siri") is a traditional, late-maturing variety grown in the high Andes. It is mainly used for chuño (freeze-dried potato), as well as in soups. Its leaves add a smoked charqui-like flavor. Traditionally, it also has medicinal uses for eye infections and headaches.
