Technico Agri Sciences Limited a wholly own subsidiary of ITC Limited, commenced operations in March 1999 to produce high yielding , early generation Seed Potatoes for India and neighbouring export markets.

TERI Micropropagation Technology Park specializes in potato tissue culture and micropropagation of disease-free planting material for seed potato programs.

UniAgri Biosciences, based in Punjab, launched in 2023, specializes in tuber cultivation. In 2024, they introduced UniTuber, high-quality potato seed minitubers from their aeroponics facility, promoting sustainable farming and better crop yields.
