Walkers is increasing the size of its Grab Bags by 20%. The size increase is taking place across both the Walkers core range and the brands Doritos, Monster Munch and Quavers, offering shoppers better value and making them more appealing for sharing.
A small British potato chip/crisp manufacturer – Corkers Crisps of Ely, Cambridgeshire has set a new Guiness record for the largest bag of potato chips ever lifted. The bag measured 5.5 metres high and had to be strong enough to support over a tonne.
Ishida Europe is introducing an enhancement to its market-leading Atlas range of snack food bagmakers which the company says will increase its already-high speeds on Potato Chips by a further 35% to a performance leading 150 bags per minute.
