PepsiCo has had its 27th facilitity awarded LEED certification by the US Green Building Council.

PepsiCo and Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods OJSC, Russia's leading branded food-and-beverage company, today announced that PepsiCo has agreed to acquire 66% of Wimm-Bill-Dann for $3.8 billion, pending the required government approvals.

n September, Russia imported 15,259 tons of potatoes with a value of 5 million dollars.

Russia will have to import over 4 million tonnes of potato according to Agriculture Minister, Elena Skrynnik, following a pessimistic forecast of the drought impact on potato crops. Skrynnik said the drought would cause major potato losses.
