Euroma will exhibit for the sixth time at SNACKEX 2026, the savoury snack industry’s leading networking and sourcing event, taking place on 17 & 18 June 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. Organised every two years by the European Snacks Association (ESA), SNACKEX is the only trade fair fully dedicated to the salty snacks sector, bringing together qualified professionals from across the snack industry. 

At SNACKEX 2026, Euroma invites visitors to experience its central theme: Flavour without compromise! With more than 125 years of expertise in herbs and spices, the company will showcase how great taste, innovation and healthier formulations can go hand in hand. 

At stand 525, Euroma will present a range of forward-looking propositions. Visitors can explore the latest flavour trends, including bold and unexpected seasoning concepts designed to surprise the senses. Building on the success of the previous edition, where playful creations like a toothpaste-inspired flavour drew attention, this year’s focus is once again on developing distinctive, conversation-starting tastes using the power of herbs and spices.

A key highlight is Euroma’s approach to salt and sugar reduction. Through carefully crafted formulations, the company demonstrates how snacks can maintain a rich and satisfying taste profile with significantly lower salt or sugar levels. For example, visitors will be able to taste a paprika seasoning that delivers a full flavour experience while reducing sodium content, illustrating how “less” does not have to mean “less enjoyable.”

Consistency across applications is another important focus. Euroma ensures that flavour performance remains stable across different snack types, from potato chips to coated nuts, and across varying production environments. This is supported by deep process knowledge, in-house R&D expertise and a dedicated sensory panel of professional tasters, ensuring every product meets high expectations in taste, texture and appearance.

Visitors can also learn more during the Science Hub session “Less Salt, Less Sugar, More Flavour!” on Wednesday 17 June at 10:00, where Euroma's Jaimy van de Steenoven will explain how herbs and spices are increasingly used as natural alternatives to salt and sugar without compromising on taste.
