Key Technology will present advanced processing solutions at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf

四月 24, 2026

Key Technology will present a focused set of technologies for potato processing at Interpack 2026 in Hall 6, Stand B73. The company says its latest solutions are designed to help processors improve product recovery, simplify operation and support more reliable conveying and seasoning performance on the line.

For processors running wet potato strip lines, incoming raw product variability remains a major challenge. Defect loads can range from 10% to 40%, and every piece of usable product that is removed unnecessarily directly affects yield and margins. At Interpack 2026, Key Technology will highlight how its experience in automatic defect removal has shaped recent advances in sensing and system design.

Technologies on display at Interpack 2026

Key Technology to showcase a focused set of technologies designed for the realities of potato processing today:

  • ADR X
  • COMPASS Belt
  • FlavorWright (PPM)
  • Scale Feed Shaker

ADR X for defect removal

Key ADR X (Automatic Defect Removal)

Key ADR X (Automatic Defect Removal)

On wet potato strip lines, high defect loads can make it difficult to recover usable product without removing good material. Key Technology says its automatic defect removal systems have long been used to precisely trim affected areas in order to recover more usable product.

The new ADR X builds on that base with advanced multi-channel sensing to improve detection of subtle defects such as green discoloration. The company says a redesigned sanitary architecture also supports long production runs with faster cleaning and reduced maintenance.

COMPASS and FlavorWright for sorting and seasoning

Key Technology's COMPASS Optical Sorter as a solution intended to protect product quality without adding cost or complexity.

Key benefits of the COMPASS Optical Sorter:

  • Remove defects and foreign material with high accuracy
  • Lower operating costs and fast return on investment
  • Maintain consistency across changeovers with recipe-driven operation
  • Simplify operation, sanitation, and maintenance

The FlavorWright All-in-One Seasoning System is presented as a solution for maintaining consistent seasoning across flavor changeovers.

Key benefits of the FlavorWright All-in-One Seasoning System:

  • Apply liquid and dry seasoning with one integrated system
  • Maintain consistent coverage with controlled, repeatable application
  • Speed setup and changeovers for multi-flavor production
  • Simplify operation and sanitation across runs

Focus on yield, consistency and uptime

These systems are engineered to address day-to-day processing challenges including raw product variability, long production runs, strict sanitation requirements and limited labor. The company says the technologies are intended to support yield recovery, reduce product loss, improve product quality and consistency, strengthen line stability and uptime, and make operation easier and more repeatable across changeovers.

Rather than adding complexity, each system is designed to integrate into existing lines and take on more of the operational burden. Visitors can see Key Technology's solutions at Interpack 2026 in Hall 6, Stand B73.
