The JEROS Automatic Tray Cleaning System (Model 9020) is an advanced industrial solution designed for large-scale bakeries and food production facilities that require fast, consistent, and hygienic tray cleaning. The system is built to handle 2,000 to 10,000 trays per day, while some production lines can process up to 40,000 trays daily, making it ideal for high-volume baking operations such as shortbread, rye bread snacks, and similar products.
This automated system simplifies tray handling and reduces labor by operating almost entirely automatically, requiring only two manual actions: placing a tray trolley into the system and removing the cleaned trays once the cycle is complete. Depending on tray size, a full tray trolley can be cleaned and automatically oiled in around 20 minutes, ensuring efficient workflow within bakery production lines.
Automated Cleaning Process
Trays are fed into the system where a pre-scraper mechanism removes heavy residues from the tray surfaces. Pressure rollers help maintain the flatness of the trays while improving the effectiveness of the cleaning process.
A driving roller system ensures trays move evenly through the machine and crushes sugar deposits, making them easier to remove. The trays then pass through high-speed steel or nylon cleaning brushes, which remove burnt-on residues and deposits. These residues are collected in a waste container that can be easily emptied to maintain optimal cleaning performance.
Following the main cleaning stage, trays pass through finishing brushes that remove fine particles and clean perforated tray holes, preventing blockages and helping extend the life of the oil coating.
Automatic Oiling and Immediate Use
After cleaning, trays move through an automatic oiling system that evenly applies oil to the surface. This prepares trays for baking without requiring additional manual preparation. The trays exit the machine with the baking side facing up, allowing them to be used immediately without needing to be turned.
Safe and Hygienic Industrial Design
The entire system is enclosed and insulated, which helps reduce operational noise and creates a safer working environment for bakery staff. It is also designed to operate efficiently even in environments with high levels of flour dust, ensuring reliable performance in typical bakery conditions. The machine supports optional cleaning brushes in steel, nylon, or stainless steel, allowing bakeries to adapt the system to different tray types and cleaning requirements.
