Sultry Sally has re-launched its low fat potato chip with even less fat

Sultry Sally has re-launched its low fat potato chip in a lower fat version.

After extensive consultation with consumers, Sultry Sally's new chip claims to have seven to eight times less fat than a normal potato chip.

The new formula chips are marketed as being 95% fat free, and containing just half a teaspoon of fat (1.5g) per 30g serving, made with locally grown Australian potatoes.

Part of the secret manufacturing process includes boiling potatoes in their skin, then roasting in olive and sunflower oils keeping fat content low, but flavour high, says the company.

The four chip flavours are Sea Salt, Salt and Vinegar, Thai Sweet Chilli &Lime and Cheese &Onion.
