Kettle Brand Sea Salt &Balsamic Vinegar Chips received top ranking in a recent London-based Financial Times taste test.
The blind taste test featured 14 different gourmet salt and vinegar flavored chips and crisps from a variety of manufacturers and was conducted by the Financial Times writer Peter Bazalgette. The runner-up in the taste test was Kettle Ridge Crisps, Salt &Malt Vinegar, giving Kettle a clean sweep of the competition.
"Our consumers have recognized the quality and taste of our chips, making Kettle brand the leader in the Hand Cooked chip category, so it is an honor to receive this recognition from the Financial Times panelists,"said Andrew Burke, Chief Marketing Officer of Diamond Foods. "We are also very pleased to see how well our new Kettle Ridge Crisps scored, as this is a new product just launched this spring."
