La Asociación de Producción de Papa FIWAP informó recientemente que durante el período comprendido entre febrero 2010 hasta enero 2011 (12 meses), Bélgica fue el mayor exportador mundial de productos procesados ??de papa, alcanzando 1.441.925 tn, seguido por los Países Bajos con 1.413.765 tn.
Los principales destinos de la producción belga fueron Francia, 347.490 tn, Reino Unido con 210.820 toneladas y los Países Bajos, 204.145 tn.
