Elea PEF Advantage C 2000-600 is an industrial pulsed electric field (PEF) system designed for high-capacity processing of large-caliber crops such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins and squash. Built around a 600 × 600 mm treatment channel, the system enables continuous throughputs of up to 150 t/h, depending on product characteristics and line configuration.
The system supports homogeneous PEF treatment using a chain-based transport concept that ensures defined residence times for large and irregular products conveyed in a controlled product-water mixture. Its hygienic stainless-steel construction allows both indoor and outdoor installation, with flexible setup options including a coated steel generator cabinet or a containerized configuration.
An optimized vessel and flume design helps reduce process water usage, while the open architecture allows fast and efficient cleaning. The system also features a robust cooling concept combining water cooling, internal air cooling and closed-circuit options to ensure reliable operation under varying environmental conditions.
At its core, the system is powered by a 60 kV matrix pulse generator with scalable output power. A PLC-based control platform provides full visibility of electrical and process parameters, supporting process monitoring, optimization and optional SCADA connectivity for advanced industrial applications.
