The ACE system significantly reduces the time needed to clean scale components. In many applications, the washing cycle takes only 6–8 minutes, while in some industries such as vegetable processing, cleaning can be completed in about 3 minutes. In many installations, the JEROS washer is placed directly on the weigher platform, minimizing transport distance between the scale and the cleaning system. While components are being washed, employees can simultaneously dry-clean the weigher center or prepare the next set of components, ensuring efficient use of time.
The complete cleaning process—including loading components, transporting racks, washing, drying the weigher center, and reinstalling the parts—can typically be completed in 20–30 minutes.
Safe and Reliable Component Cleaning
During cleaning, hoppers are washed with opened flaps and tensioned springs, allowing thorough access to all surfaces. After the high-temperature rinse, the components are almost completely dry and ready to be placed back on the weigher.
