JEPO Finland Upgrades Potato Processing Line with OptiServe Xcalibur 1450 Optical Sorter

OptiServe B.V. has successfully delivered and commissioned its Xcalibur 1450 optical sorter at JEPO – Jepuan Peruna Oy / Jeppo Potatis Ab, marking a major milestone in the commissioning of a new food processing line at the Jeppo facility.

Now fully operational, the Xcalibur 1450 is sorting baby potatoes, potato cubes, potato slices, and French fries, bringing advanced, world-class optical sorting and classification capabilities to JEPO’s production operations.

Advanced Optical Classification for Processed Potatoes

The Xcalibur 1450 goes beyond conventional sorting by using advanced optical classification technology to accurately detect and separate products based on quality parameters. Equipped with patented intelligent pneumatic ejection, the system ensures high accuracy at exceptional throughput and speed, while maintaining low energy consumption and reduced operating costs.
