GRIMME GL 420 Exacta potato planter is a compact, wheel-less 4-row planter designed for precision and efficiency. Its unique design minimizes the distance between tuber discharge and ridge forming plates, ensuring accurate placement of tubers even on slopes.
The planter features a mechanical coupling between the furrow opener and ridge forming plate, guaranteeing exact planting depth. It can be equipped with up to four loosening tines for deep soil preparation, along with options like a rotary harrow or full-width tiller for optimal field conditions.
Its compact construction without running wheels reduces soil compaction and improves performance in small or irregular fields. This design makes it especially suitable for sloped terrain, ensuring consistent ridge formation and uniform crop development.
