BluePrint Automation Acquires Jongerius Hanco to Expand Global Snack Food Packaging Solutions

BluePrint Automation has announced the acquisition of Jongerius Hanco B.V., based in Amersfoort, effective June 25, 2021. The strategic acquisition strengthens BluePrint Automation’s position in the snack food packaging sector and expands its capabilities in variety multipack solutions using plastic PE bags.
Martin Prakken, CEO of BluePrint Automation Group, said both companies are enthusiastic about the partnership, emphasizing that Jongerius Hanco’s product portfolio complements BPA’s existing packaging solutions. He noted that the acquisition is particularly valuable for the snack food market, especially in the area of variety multipacks, while also enabling Jongerius Hanco to benefit from BPA’s extensive global sales and service network.
Jongerius Hanco B.V. is recognized worldwide as a leading supplier of multipackaging (bag-in-bag) systems for the secondary packaging industry. The company develops tailor-made packaging solutions designed to enhance production capacity, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency. Its machinery has been exported to more than 50 countries globally.
The acquisition also adds Jongerius Hanco’s advanced seal-checking devices and broad range of bag-in-bag technologies to BluePrint Automation’s existing case-packing solutions, creating a more comprehensive offering for customers worldwide.
Following the acquisition, Jongerius Hanco will continue to operate independently while becoming part of the global BluePrint Automation organization.
